Have approved seagoing service of 2 years as a Chief Officer

Holder of valid Certificate of Competency and Certificate of Endorsement with capacity in Management Level of a Navigational Watch issued by country of national and / or flag state, in accordance with 1978 STCW Convention, as amended requirements. - Holder of valid Passport, Seafarer's Identification and Record Book and Seafarer's Registration Certificate issued by country of nationality. - In possession of training certificates pursuant to national or flag state and in accordance with 1978 STCW Convention, as amended requirements. - Have completed approved education and training and meet standard of competence specified in section A-II/1 of the STCW code. - Meet the applicable requirement of the regulations in Chapter IV, as appropriate, for performing designated radio duties in accordance with the Radio Regulation. - Have approved seagoing service of 2 years as a Chief Officer - Computer literate - Physically and mentally fit for sea duty.
