Profile : |
Ace Navigation Co., Inc. was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 28, 1981 under the registration certificate number 0105268. Organized by Veterans of shipping industry, the company has mandated itself to provide competent, well-educated, highly-trained Filipino seafarers on-board various types of vessels worldwide.
Through the years, Ace Navigation has proven its strength in maintaining a ready pool of qualified and trained seafarers, ready to answer the demands of foreign ship owners and ship managers worldwide.
It has continued to be a partner of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)the government institution tasked to look after the welfare of Filipino overseas workers.
By being authorized to conduct the pre-Departure Orientation Seminars (PDOS) in-house, Ace Navigation has designed its PDOS to answer all the concerns the seafarers will encounter during their tenure on-board. All departing crew members undergo extensive briefing on several topics concerning their job on-board their assigned vessels, general policies promulgated by both the Principal and Philippine Government, orienting seafarers of the International Safety Management Codes as directives from the International Maritime Organization, as well as financial and personal management especially with their relations towards their own families.
In the middle of 2012, Ace Navigation faced its biggest challenge after the passing of its President and founder, Mr. Rodolfo F. Pamintuan. But from this unfortunate event, the new hope of the company rest on Mr. Pamintuan's children, who succeeds him in managing the company with new enthusiasm and hope. Today, headed by Mr. Pamintuan's eldest son, Rhommel Pamintuan, taking over the reigns that his father has passed on to him, Ace Navigation is more dynamic by being more open to building better relations with its Principal and its seafarers, as they are both equally an essential part of Ace Navigation's existence.
Armed with this new blood, Ace Navigation now looks forward to conquering new horizons and landing on new shores!
