AGILE began its journey in March of 1995. The company cornered its first major business from Barber Ship Management for the supply of Filipino officers, deck and engine ratings, hotel and casino staff to its cruise vessel plying tourist destinations in Malaysia and Thailand. Soon thereafter, we were supplying crew for bulk carriers and general cargo vessels to various Asian principals.
In 1996, we started supplying Filipino officers and ratings to fully-refrigerated container vessels and state of the art open-top cellular container vessels crew-managed by PRONAV (Schiffahrtskontor GmbH or Schiffahrtsberatung GmbH& Co. KG).
Today, we have evolved to the more specialised and challenging markets. We are now doing the crewmanagement for fully pressurised and liquefied natural gas carriers under PRONAV Ship Management Inc. (USA). We are also manning Panamax and Suezmax crude carriers and product tankers owned or managed by Ernst Jacob (GmbH & Co. KG) of Flensburg, Germany and Class A1 chemical tankers and ethylene-LPG carriers crew-managed by PRONAV Schiffahrtsberatung GmbH & Co. KG of Hamburg, Germany.
