United Philippine Lines, Inc. (UPL) was established in 1960. Initially, we operated a liner service of seven (7) cargo liners serving a trade route between the Philippines and the United States via Hong Kong and Japan. Since then, we expanded our operations and expertise to ship management, general agency, husbanding agency and chartering. With our international partners, we were able to manage various vessels such as oil tankers, LPG carriers, car carriers, product carriers, supply vessels, ocean tugs, and bulk carriers. We later went on to other major industries such as deep-sea fishing.UPL’s 30-year experience in recruitment is at the foundation of its present day operations which involve training and deployment of highly-skilled technical workers, food and beverage kitchen and service personnel, engineers, physicians, front office staff, and security officers to luxury lines, cruise yachts, product tankers, VLCC/crude oil carriers, LPG carriers and LNG carriers.
